Abstract
This study analyzes the transnational society as an alternative route in non-state relations in terms of transnationalism, which advocates multi-actor, layered relations against the state-centered world politics approach. As a result of transnationalism, while non-state actors stand out in world politics, non-state relations are overshadowed in the literature. Transnational society, which is a voluntary but limited community with a purpose without seeking citizenship, is an important variable in these transnational equations outside the state. This variable can be chosen as an alternative route by non-state actors and can create the dim side of world politics. This study, as an alternative route, aims to reveal the effect of transnational society on the relations of non-state actors in accordance with the logic of transnationalism. In this context, in the first chapter, transnationalism is discussed with its origins and criticisms. In the second and third sections; Transnational relations actors and relations are explained. The fourth chapter is the chapter in which transnational relations are evaluated through case studies within the framework drawn by the first three chapters. Thus, it is aimed to illuminate a relatively obscure perspective of the literature.
